We are looking for an experienced team-oriented Class 1 Van Driver to join our team in Delta, BC! This position will carry both non-hazardous and hazardous waste from our Delta, BC branch to our Kimball, NE branch utilizing a dry van. This position will require cross-border travel into the United States. Drivers will be eligible for bonuses for clean DOT Inspections!

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Picks up waste from Clean Harbors facilities or customer locations utilizing 53' Dry Vans;
Assists with loading/unloading of drums and totes using pallets jacks and/or forklift;
Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units;
Properly secures the loads for safe transportation;
Operate vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations;
Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

Clean Class 1 license;
Hazmat Endorsement Required;
Minimum 1-year Class 1 commercial driving experience required;
A valid passport or FAST Pass is required;
Ability to operate a handheld computer required;
Ability to travel as business demands require
