Job Profile

AFD Petroleum is currently looking for Full Time Tri-Quad Experienced Class 1 Fuel Delivery Driver to transport and deliver fuels to various sites in the Prince George area.  Drivers will encounter all types of road, weather and traffic conditions.  Driving off road is common and weekend work is typical.  The main duties of this position include but are not limited to: oversee cargo handling and secure loads; perform pre and post trip inspections; maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions; minor roadside repairs such as lights, loose fittings, air-line repairs, etc.; deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner. 

Education/Certificates:

  • A valid Class 1 license
  • Wages set at $30-32/hr
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ Fuel experience and must have; liquid/fluid bulk hauling experience considered an asset
  • Must have Tri-Drive Experience; Super B or Tri Axle driving experience is required
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • Experience with bottom-load, pump-off and metering procedures
  • Off-road and ice road driving; tire chaining, mountain driving and experience with mines and oilfield deliveries.
  • Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hours of Service Regulations and reporting
  • 5 Year Commercial Driver’s Abstract (current, within 30 days of application)
  • Current or prior Terminal Access Badges for ESSO, Shell and/or Husky with a current CFA card considered an asset

Work Conditions

Extended hours and on call as required
Physical ability to lift up to 50lb
Travel to off-site locations may be required
Steel-toed safety boots are required
Overtime as required
Hazards associated with the trade
Work both indoors and outdoors
