Job Description

The Frac Fuel Lead Hand will be responsible for all frac refuel manpower, equipment activities that take place on the work site, ensuring high standards of customer service and equipment efficiency. The Lead Hand will be responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing and managing the frac refueling equipment. The Lead Hand will enforce all required safety and work site regulations and policies. All employees will be trained by the Lead Hand. The Lead Hand is responsible for the efficient use of the Frac refueling equipment, and the continuous supply of fuel required by the customer. The Lead Hand will report on such things as fuel supply and safety and other reports as required. Other responsibilities will include the planning and scheduling of all work, maintain records of all fuel used and the progress made on a job. The Lead Hand must be familiar with customer needs, contracts and procedures.

Job Duties:

Initial mobilization and set up of the frac refueling equipment on sites.                                                                                                                                                                                       Train all staff relief in use and maintenance of frac refueling equipment. This includes monitoring equipment performance,                                                                                                         providing feedback, and taking corrective action to keep equipment running smoothly and efficiently.
Resolve Client complaints in a professional courtesy manner
Monitor job progress, fuel supply and safety, and provide regular progress reporting to management.
Review time sheets and schedules, ensure all shifts are covered
Submit bi-weekly payroll info. (time sheets, payroll changes, new hires and terminations)
Manage all project administration activities including; time sheets and safety reporting.
Enforce all company and site policies and procedures
Establish effective onsite communications and progress reporting with clients.
Maintain various reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Keep lines of communication opened between Dispatch and Management
Review and maintain inventory procedures
Maintain and repair frac refueling equipment as required
Develop proper stocking and inventory procedures, ensure maintenance of these policies
Train employees on the importance of safe work practices including proper use of equipment, cleaning guidelines and WHMIS procedures
Ensure compliance with AFD Petroleum (Texas) Inc.’s health and safety training and reporting requirements
Provide feedback to the Frac/Tank Coordinator Supervisor regarding customer opinions, usage trends, and other pertinent information
Maintain the equipment and property of the site
Maintain a ready for duty status while on shift
Follow all regulatory requirements from all governing legislation

 

 

Requirements:

3 – 5 Frac Fuel supervisor experience preferred
3 - 5 years experience in a supervisor role out in the field of an oilfield environment
Demonstrate knowledge of inventory control and techniques and procedures.
Extremely personable and adept at dealing with the public, with exceptional customer service orientation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Able to consistently represent the company in a professional manner.
Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software systems and data entry.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor.
Valid driver’s license

 

Work Conditions:

24/7 availability may be required
Physical ability to lift up to 50lb
Travel to the site, and off-site locations will be required
Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
Overtime as required
Hazards associated with the site
Work both indoors and outdoors
Will be exposed to frac site.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 /hour
