YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Supervisor - Reporting and Integration Application Support, Enterprise Finance Applications Support (EFAS) team; this position works together with customers in Finance and other departmental stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that will maximize the value delivered to the Enterprise Finance Applications. The EFAS Business Analyst is an agent of change that applies a disciplined approach when facilitating changes. The EFAS BA manages relationships with customers and stakeholders, provides business analysis, and supports and enhances a portfolio of finance applications.

This position is based in Calgary, Alberta

HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Develop relationships with the users of finance applications and other departmental stakeholders to address their needs and issues. Act as the point of contact for the assigned applications and become the liaison between Finance, Information Systems and other stakeholders
• Support and enhance a portfolio of finance solutions including Open Invoice, Hyperion Essbase/HFM, integrations between JDE, Open Invoice and Maximo
• Provide application support to North America and international offices.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues for various Enterprise applications. 
• Analyze and reconcile data integrities by applying expertise on the Enterprise applications.
• Provide functional and business process subject matter expertise for finance applications and data flows.
• Analyze and streamline business processes through the usage of technology and provide recommendations that meet business requirements.
• Configure applicable software and participate in development efforts and functional testing. 
• Coordinate User Acceptance testing and deployment of changes.
• Adhere to CNRL change management process and internal controls requirements.
• Lead or collaborate on EFAS continuous improvements or project initiatives.
• Work with your dupervisor to track, coordinate, prioritize and communicate work efforts.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Financial Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related areas required.
• Accounting designation
• Business Analysis vertification is an asset
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance business experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas
• Minimum of 3 years of functional experience in Finance Module of  JDE EnterpriseOne (or other ERP system),  Open Invoice, Hyperion Essbase/HFM, BI Reporting Tools (Tableau or Microsoft Power BI)
• Facilitate and manage project meetings and provide updates in an effective manner
• Demonstrate proficiency in issue resolution, ownership of issues and strong analytical skills
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritizing abilities to manage work efforts. 
• Effective communication skills throughout the organization from end-users to senior management levels. Ability to present complex concepts clearly in easily understood terms, with the use of visuals.
• Ability to manage relationships effectively with users, finance managers and other key stakeholders
